The Venerable Denny Trousdale
President
Denny Trousdale currently serves as the Rector of St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Bryson City, NC, as well as the Vice-Chairman of the National Council of the Orthodox Anglican Church and was formerly the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Saint Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary. On July 24th, 2022, he was collated as Archdeacon of the Orthodox Anglican Church
Archdeacon Trousdale is a local business owner in Bryson City with over 20 years’ experience in mortgage and finance. Denny resides on a small farm in The Nantahala National Forest with his wife Katherine, 5 dogs and 3 cats. He has a passion for his service to God, the Church, the community, and fishing.
Reverend Fr. Brendon Helms
Academic Dean
Brendon Helms is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where he completed his B.S. in History, Secondary Education. He completed his Master of Arts in both Biblical Studies (2010) and Philosophy (2015) at Southern Evangelical Seminary in Matthews, NC. His master’s thesis is titled Between Scepticism and Fallacies: A Response to Richard Pervo’s Dating Acts.
Currently, he is working on His Doctorate of Sacred Theology at St. Andrew Theological Seminary. His dissertation is focused on examining the intersection of Thomistic philosophy and theology with modern addiction studies.
Brendon lives in Concord, NC with his wife Elizabeth and six children. He attends Resurrection Anglican Church in Kannapolis, NC. Brendon was ordained a deacon by Archbishop Thomas Gordon on May 22, 2021.

Fr. Bill Barrow

Father Bill, comes to us from New Bern, North Carolina, near the beaches of the Southern Outer Banks. Originally an attorney and businessman for over 25 years, Father Bill, answered the Lord’s life-long call to ordained ministry in his early Fifties. Father Bill was ordained to the Priesthood in the Orthodox Anglican Church (OAC) at 58 years young, and immediately was installed as Priest & Vicar of Saint James Orthodox Anglican Church in New Bern, North Carolina, a fledgling Parrish he and a few families founded and established in 2014, during the 5 years he served the Church as an ordained Deacon in the OAC. Father Bill is happily married to Lisa and they have one 25 year old son. Father Bill, now 62, is happily in retirement from his secular careers, and is now fully devoted to the service of the Church and the Kingdom of God, and is very grateful to be of any service to Saint Andrews, the OAC’s Theological College and Seminary.
The Most Reverend Thomas E. Gordon
Chancellor / Instructor of Apocrypha and Practical Liturgical instruction
Thomas Gordon, the son of a Presbyterian minister and a Christian school teacher, was born and raised in Williamsport, PA. He is married and has three grown sons. In 2008, he became the organizing minister and Rector of St. Philip the Evangelist Anglican Church in Charlotte, NC. In 2012, he was called upon to serve his alma mater, St. Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary, as its seventh President.
On April 18, 2015, he was elected and enthroned as the sixth Presiding Bishop of the Orthodox Anglican Church and the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Orthodox Anglican Communion. His previous appointments in the Orthodox Anglican Church include Canon to the Ordinary, Suffragan Bishop, and Bishop Coadjutor. He serves as the Chancellor of St. Andrew’s Theological College and Seminary, where he provides Practical Liturgical Instruction, and teaches the Apocrypha.
The Right Reverend Joshua Gilliam
Instructor of Sacramental Theology and Spanish Studies
Joshua Gilliam is a Graduate of Queens University in Charlotte, NC where he completed his B.A. with a major in Spanish and a concentration in Music. He completed his Masters of Divinity through Liberty Theology Seminary in Virginia, and the Doctor of Ministry from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC.
Prior to becoming a priest, he spent in the Army Chaplain Corps and as a police officer. He serves in the Orthodox Anglican Communion under Archbishop Thomas Gordon and is currently the Rector of Resurrection Anglican Church / Iglesia Anglicana Resurrección in Kannapolis, NC.
He resides in Enochville with his wife, Nelva, and their five children.
Fr. Jeremy Roseman

Instructor of Apologetics
Jeremy Roseman was ordained a priest in the Orthodox Anglican Church by the Rt Revd Thomas Gordon on October 10, 2020. He received his B.A. in Christian Missions from Pfeiffer University and an M.A. in Global Apologetics from Liberty. He has done extensive research in Christian Apologetics in relation to other religions. His graduate thesis defended the concept of grace in Christianity to that of Shin Buddhism, a Japanese sect.
He has served on a number of short term missions overseas including campus evangelism with Campus Crusade and teaching English in South Korea. He now serves at Resurrection Anglican Church in Kannapolis, NC. He and his wife, Katie live in Monroe, NC.
Fr. Steven Victory
Homiletics
Fr. Steve Victory is a firm believer in the Holy Spirit’s ability to transform people from the inside-out and has a passion for accurately communicating the Gospel through expository (verse-by-verse) preaching. After completing eight years of service in the U.S. Army with two combat tours to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he attended Liberty University for his Undergraduate and Graduate studies. He currently serves as Rector of Epiphany Anglican Church in Eustis, FL.
Fr. Christopher Little
Fr. Christopher Little is originally from Southern California but spent 35 years in Colorado, where he graduated from Denver Seminary with a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology. He later earned four units of Clinical Pastoral Education under the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education at Centura St. Anthony Hospital, a Level I trauma center located in Lakewood, CO. He later served as a chaplain at SCL Health Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO, then a Level III trauma center. After moving to Hendersonville, NC in June 2016 with his wife Jeannine, he served as a chaplain for 5 years at CarePartners Rehabilitation Hospital in Asheville. He is officially retired from secular and hospital and chaplaincy work, but he remains passionate about the mission of St. Andrews Theological College and Seminary and his work as Rector of St. Jude’s Anglican Church in Hendersonville, NC.
