Seminars

Seminars for students, Deacons and Priests consist of individualized "hands-on" liturgical training, intruction, tours, and visiting lecturers. They provide many opportunities for devotion, learning, fellowship, and special clerical training. Participation is strictly limited and early registration is strongly suggested. The photographs below document the rich and rewarding experiences that students and visitors of Saint Andrew's have enjoyed. This year's seminar schedule:

2008 Seminars in the United States are scheduled to be held in Lexington, North Carolina:

  • Feb 12 to Feb 17: Liturgical Seminar for Deacons, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students. SEMINAR FILLED


  • March 4 to March 9: Liturgical Seminar for Priests, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students.(To be attended only by deacons or priests.)


  • April 4 to April 6: Homiletics Seminar, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students.


  • May 2 to May 4: Aspirant Weekend, Lexington, NC. Limited to 6 students. SEMINAR FILLED


  • August 29 to August 31: Aspirant Weekend, Lexington, NC. Limited to 6 students.


  • Sept 16 to Sept 21: Liturgical Seminar for Deacons, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students.


  • Oct 14 to Oct 19: Liturgical Seminar for Priests, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students.(To be attended only by deacons or priests.)


  • Nov 7 to Nov 9: Homiletics Seminar, Lexington, NC. Limited to 4 students.


  • Note: Seminars are filled on a “first come, first served” basis, and reserved for students who are members, aspirants or clergy of The Orthodox Anglican Church. Seminars with less than 3 students registered are subject to cancellation. Cost: $385 for week long-events. $185 for Aspirant Weekend and the weekend Homiletics Seminar. Room and board provided at Lexington. Seminar fees include tuition cost for credit hours earned at the event. For more information, please call 336-236-4816.
